Suzuki Suzuki Rf900r Rf-900r Motorcycle Sport Bike

This motorcycle is in fair shape and is ridable. There is the common Suzuki 2nd gear issue (when under hard power it will jump out/in of gear) otherwise the other gears work fine. It does not have any overheating or other known issues. The bike is a real rider (look up some of the reviews online). I am selling this motorcycle for the family of a friend (3rd owner) who has passed away and do not know the history for the last 8 years that he owned it. I sold this bike to him in 2002. I was the second owner and purchased it from the original owner. It is complete and shows wear equal to a 17 year old motorcycle. It has been repainted and is a very very dark blue/black with blue metal flake. I woudl rate this as a complete ridable 2 or 3 out of 10. Come by and take a look. This is bike is all original except I replaced one front blinker that was broken. The carbs have been cleaned. I replaced the needle & seats about 4 years ago. Has new battery, points and set the timing about a month ago. This bike runs good and it’s been in the family since 1978. All the lights, horn, and electric start work. Upper muffler on left side has a hole about size of fifty cent piece. You can see it in the picture. Gas tank and fenders have no dents but do have some scratches. The color is called Boss Maroon Metallic according to the book which looks like a dark black cherry metallic. Has 11,099 original miles and clear title.
